I am thinking of Andrew Epstein's *wonderful* essay on the "maternal everyday” in Mayer's poetry, and I wonder how many of Mayer's moves were intentional re: motherhood, or matter-of-fact / as things went, and how the "vibe" of either or might trickle into her poetry.
