Forum for Global Challenges: Catalysing Action Beyond the Pandemic
From the devastating impacts of climate change and the destruction of the natural world to the effect of pandemics on jobs and livelihoods, there is an urgent need to create a better, fairer and more inclusive future for all people and the planet.

The University of Birmingham is establishing the Forum for Global Challenges, a solutions-focused international events series and dialogue, culminating in an international meeting at the Birmingham, UK in May 2022. The Forum will bring together academics, policy-makers, practitioners, the private sector, civil society and the public.

This inaugural event will consider the slow pace of change in the face of immediate crises such as the pandemic and climate emergency. After the event, you will get access to an online community, where you can make and share your own contributions to tackling global challenges.

The launch programme is as follows:
